I would have loved to see a shot of them grappling, lightning claw to lightning claw, while they both prepared to strike with their secondary weapons. Nonetheless, I’m happy to see a depiction of an actual part while they were fighting.

Hey, so sillyness aside, this is pretty awesome. One of your greatest strengths - your ability to bend the norm into something fresh - really stands out in this one. You could have made him armored head to toe like a juggernaut, you could have made a scantily-clad barbarian, but you found a solid middle boundary, and it’s working out well. As I continue to look at this, I think of how this guy would fight based on his gear - I imagine him using his right arm for heavy strikes and blocking because of how much metal he’s got there between the axe and his armor. With his left arm, he’d use it for quicker strikes, and that rusty axe could give people some nasty poisoning…he may use his left leg for the occasional kick given the calf armor, and he keeps his right leg free of armor for easier movement there. A little over-analysis maybe, but that’s the power of this piece - it’s really thought provoking.
